Anshula Kapoor, facing a similar situation, chooses to adapt her dress on such days.
As such, she shared an effective tip with her Instagram followers to address this widespread concern, especially among women. “Sharing a tip I use to dress myself on days I’m super bloated or just not really feeling my best,” she wrote.
In the video posted alongside, Anshula said that a week before her period, she feels super bloated. “And it becomes super difficult to find something that I feel cute to wear,” the 32-year-old said.

She said that on such days, she feels most comfortable wearing A-line dresses or empire waist dresses. “Look how cute this one is. It makes me feel pretty good in my body even though I am having a bad body image day. This silhouette kind of works out for me,” Anshula said.
Concluding, she told her followers: “If you are on the same boat as me, may this be of help to you. But if you have other tips and tricks for how you dress your bloated body and still feel cute, please tell me.”
Commenting on her post, several people shared their experiences on how they dress themselves on days they feel bloated.
While one user wrote, “Nice stretchy high waist jeans do the trick for me. I feel the bloated area sits nicely in the jeans all day,” another commented: “Absolutely relatable. A-line dresses, kaftans, and loose co-ords are go-to dresses for me. Also as I am comfortable in sari, hence, use it to hide my bloated tummy too.”
