Fine, you caught me. I plead guilty to sneaking a few extra gifts for myself when holiday shopping. I call it my little reward for checking off my list, even if that list is full of things to purchase for other people. “One for you, one for me” is what I tell myself when perusing the pages of my favorite online retailers. This habit of mine is exponentially worse when scrolling Nordstrom’s beauty section. I can’t help it—the retailer is full of amazing holiday gift sets, hair tools, and other beauty favorites. If a product is sold on Nordstrom, it typically means it’s the gold standard of the beauty industry (and therefore must be mine).
